Submarine WIP by Vincent-Montreuil Submarine WIP by Vincent-Montreuil

I'm working on one of my existing project, the ecological submarine that you can see on the images above. I try to improve and develop this project, make it more realistic in order to do after that a 3D modeling of this project.
Here, it's the new package of the vehicle with an example of what it could be look like.

Tell me what do you think of this improvement and if you prefer this version or the older one (you can explain why)

Thx to all :)

Perhaps you could consider a kite sail for use on the surface.

I got to say I love them both, but if I had to chose I'd go for the blue one, it's beautiful!

Great work, I like it! I would love to see a pic showing the submarine underwater, cruising an ocean at high speed. :)

Sorry, but this submarine moves at very low speed !
It's an ecological submarine for scientists, so to be in symbiosis with his environment it moves thanks to the ocean current, approximatively at 8km/h.

And for the picture of this submarine in action, you need to wait ;), before I need to finalize the project. On the other hand, to help me you can give me your opinion on which one you prefer. The old blue version or this preview sketch ?

Ah, sorry about the speed - it's fine for me. Speaking of the sketch, I kind of prefer the blue version. ;)

Can you explain your choice ?

It's difficult to explain it briefly, but I have made some modifications to make the project more realistic. For sure, this project is a bit science fiction, but the blue version (older version) definitively doesn't works in my screenplay (the propeller that serves at the same time as a sailing). So you can notice that the main body is approximately the same. The changes are fisrt of all the sail (here a simple sail which as only one function), this two pillars in order that the submarine could alight on the ocean's bottom and the propeller in order to recover the energy of the ocean current.

The thing is that, as you said, it's more realistic. I prefer the other design because it's more sci-fi like than the other. ;)
