Short Project : 2 weeks Create a new seaplane for the Schneider Trophy
It's a vision of the future racing seaplanes. These vehicles are very technological and compete in several events to win the Schneider Trophy 2031 (which historically ended in 1931), to celebrate the 100 years.
Visually stunning piece indeed. It looked great in thumbnail format but upon looking at the detailed full-size image, I'd like (if you do not mind) to point out an area of concern (based on my own little experiences)

The Zoom: I personally think that the zoom-blur actually braked the momentum and energy in this piece.
I would imagine that the piece (even if it was a 3D render) was captured with a track-side camera, then the camera needs to pan around the same speed as the red plane in order to get a crisp/clear focus on red; therefore creating a slightly arced directional-blur to the environments surrounding red.
And if the zoom effect is still a desired trait for the piece then we might try apply it on top of the directional-blur (I assumed you rendered separate elements and combined them in PS). As an animator I would think about animating the planes, the track with camera pan and zoom right from the 3D package (I don't know if AliasStudio support that kind of animation or not), render them out with all the blur then assemble + give some finishing touch in PS, but that is just me.

Anyway, this is a great piece and I'm loving it, and that was the reason for my critique.
is it weird to say I felt the actual movement of the photo? Felt like my eyes were playing tricks on me. It's so amazing the effect you used to draw everything inwards. The detail, color, very inspirational. awesome job.
Again, I'd suggest posting this to Digital Art instead; most people here on Vehicular Designs are only interested in modern cars, trucks, etc., so they're not as good an audience for your work.
I have changes the category some of my deviations. I was feeling that vehicular graphic wasn't exactly the good category, but design and vehicular is what I made, so (I don't understand everything I guess ).
great work ! you can really feel the moment in this work, extremely impressive blast ! the colors are great and nice depth ! Great concept seeplane also
